Over 200 submitted works to the 2022 Internetics competition

Internetics, a project initiated by The Institute and presented by UniCredit Bank, gathered for its 22nd edition, 209 submitted works that will be judged in 2 phases. The nominated projects will be announced on November 14th and the winners on November 17th at the Internetics 2022 Awarding Gala, which will make its return to the offline this year.

The category featuring the biggest number of works is Digital Strategies – with 79 submitted works, followed by the Digital Campaigns category – with 63 projects and Digital Platforms – with 58 submissions.

In the new stand-alone category – Internetics Digital for Good, dedicated to brands from all industries that contributed to social issues in the past two years – there were 9 submissions. Besides the Internetics Digital for Good jury, in 2022 the Judging Process involves 3 more jury groups for each one of the main categories of the competition – Digital Platforms, Digital Strategies and Digital Campaigns. These 3 jury groups bring together over 80 Romanian marcomm specialists, researchers, media & publishing specialists & marketing consultants.

The Judging Process will take place in 2 Judging Phases: the first one involves the individual evaluation of the submitted works and will determine the Internetics 2022 Nominees, while the second phase will reunite the jury members for each category in order to establish the winners of every section.

This year, the Internetics communication campaign launches a call to action for brands & advertising agencies under the message Do Good Through Digital. Internetics believes in the power of brands to get involved in a sustainable way and generate real impact in communities regarding various social issues, to use their digital marketing platforms & technologies in order to bring a positive contribution to society.
To better illustrate this message, Internetics uses in its campaign visuals generated through artificial intelligence on the MidJourney platform, with a focus on 3 big themes – environment, health and education:

We dreamed about a better version of Romania. And then we wrote and sent our dreams to MidJourney artificial intelligence which painted them in images. Like this, through digital our aspirations are closer to becoming reality.

The Internetics 2022 Awarding Gala will focus on the Do Good Through Digital theme and will take place on November 17th – all details will be announced soon.
